“Duty is ours, results are God’s”
(John Quincy Adams)
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10

To whom am I thankful?
Not my lucky stars, because I don’t think stars are lucky to begin with.
My thanks goes to the one who made those beautiful stars.
What Christ gave me was the greatest gift ever.
I am so unworthy of this gift and His love, but I am so grateful for it. And it is to Him that all my gratitude goes.
I am thankful to him for all the things I have listed in the past month. He gave me friends, family, joy, sunshine and the ability and reason to be thankful.
Because of Jesus, I CAN give thanks in everything.
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1
I hope you have enjoyed this month of blog posts.
I encourage you to try it yourself.
Everyday for the next month find something new to be thankful for. Being thankful is not just for one day in November.
Thanksgiving Day is just a day set aside to remind us.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
I am so thankful for the ability to laugh.
It is a stress reveler and most of the time it causes other to laugh too.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Because of vehicles we can travel many miles in a very short time.
We can travel to see friends and family for
special events and holidays.
Many years ago it took weeks and months to go places we go in just days now.
So many people get in there cars without even a thought that they didn’t used to be.
So if you are traveling during these next few holidays,
take notice to how many times you get in a vehicle. (Whether it takes you to the airport or to your destination.)
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:5

Today I am thankful for the chance to get together with family and friends .
Not everybody has family and friends to gather with today.
It does not matter how the meal turns out or if we forgot to make one of our traditional dishes, it is our attitude that matters.
Are we truly thankful?
I have heard it said that “A thankful heart can make any meal a feast.” and it is so true.
Look around you today and count your blessings and it WILL surprise you what the Lord has done.
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Ephesians 5:20
