Peace ?

Have you ever been in a situation  where you felt like everything was going wrong,

and it would never get better and yet,

You have deep inside you  peace from God that says don’t worry, don’t be afraid, everything will be okay?

I believe  that is the peace  God said in His word that He would give us.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ”  Philippians 4:7,

The peace that passth all understanding.

Because when I have been in a chaotic situation like that, it does not make sense  that I can have peace, It passes my understanding .

But I know it is from God.

And I am so grateful for it.

I hope as you prepare for the special day of remembering Christ birth, to be thankful for the peace he gives us in all situations.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The gift of feeling tired.

Puppies in overalls on the line[1]

The gift of being tired.

A friend told me that  she had been sick and not feel tired enough to really sleep, but after a day or so, she was so happy to actually sleep.

I thought that was a good reminder to be  thankful for the gift of being tired.

There are a lot of things to be thankful for if we would step back take a look at the whole picture.

It can make our day look a lot brighter too.

So as we prepare for this Christmas season keep this gift in mind.

The Lord is my strength and song,……..
Exodus 15:2
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

Proverbs 3:24

Spiders

spiderscenic

Have you ever been scared of a spider?

I sure have.

But I can’t help but think of how small a spider is, and how big I must look to it.

It is kinda embarrassing, but if you think about it the spider is probably as much afraid of you as you are of it.

I think we sometimes do that in our everyday lives.

If we could see how small life’s “spiders” really are and how big our God is, I don’t think we would be so afraid.

So when you have “little spiders” in your life, just remember how small they are and how big our God is.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.                              2 Timothy 1:7

I hope the above photo brought a smile to your face,
